The Formula 5000 Drivers Association is pleased to announce its racing schedule for 2009. Building on the success of the 40th Anniversary races in 2008, the Association has announced an expanded race program for 2009 consisting of four events spanning from the west to the east coast of the U.S.
The 2009 U.S. Formula 5000 Revival Races will take place at the following venues:
- May 16-17: Thunderhill Raceway in northern California with CSRG
- June 25-28: Mid-Ohio Race Course with SVRA
- July 16-19: Road America – Kohler International Challenge with Brian Redman
- September 11-13: Watkins Glen International with SVRA
