1972 LOLA T330 HU-14A
      $155,000

This Lola T330 is now being restored by J&L Fabricating in Puyallup, WA., one of the première race car restoration firms in the USA.   It is being offered now so that the new owner has the opportunity to select colors, graphics and any other modifications that may be desired. It will be complete in March of 2010. When complete, it will be the ultimate Formula 5000 competitor in every way. The chassis and all components will be virtually new, the engine is a 515 HP steel 305 built by Ron Shaver at Shaver Specialties in California.   The body isthat of the original Brian Redman car.  A new and correct engine was installed in November of 2009. The Redman body, miraculously, remains undamaged after nearly 40 years. Built in 1972, HU14, then crimson in color, was sold to Haas Racing in early 1973. In these early years HU14 was also driven by Kevin Bartlett and Derek Bell.   In October of 1973 the car was sold to Jerry Hansen who won several races late in 1973 through the end of 1975.   In early 1976 the car was sold to Glenn Brown in Kent, Washington who won several races including an SCCA national event on July 11, 1976.   Brown subsequently sold the car back to Jerry Hansen in late 1976 and he raced the car through the 1977 season.  Contact Don Roose at donroose@gmail.com or 206-842-1609
